Creamy Tomato Pasta
This Creamy Tomato Pasta (Spaghetti al Pomodoro) is a simple vegan pasta with tomato sauce recipe! It is very easy to make and perfect if you want a quick dinner that is delicious and satisfying!

Cook your pasta according to the package instructions in salted water until al dente.
In the meantime, make the sauce. Heat the oil in the pan and sauté the onion for about 2-3 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
Add tomatoes and tomato paste. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 10 minutes or until desired consistency is reached. Season with salt, pepper, Italian herbs, and a bit of sugar.
When the pasta is done, drain and add to the sauce, tossing to combine.
Serve your tomato pasta with dollops of vegan cream cheese, oven-tomatoes, toasted pine nuts, fresh basil or any toppings you like!
