Poppy Seeds Curd Dumplings




  • 70gr yield oats flakes
  • 160gr curd
  • 1 egg
  • about 1 tbsp. sugar replacement
  • a bit Vanilla
  • strawberries
  • poppy seeds

Blueberry sauce:

  • 200gr (frozen) blueberries
  • 1-2 tsp. sugar replacement
  • a bit Vanilla
  • a knife tip carob gum


  • fresh blueberries
  • Oreo cookies


  1. Defrost frozen blueberries.
  2. Combine yield oats flakes with curd, egg, sugar replacement and vanilla and let the dough rest for about 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, bring water to the boil in a pot.
  4. Form the dough to 6 dumplings with wet hands and place a strawberry in the middle.
  5. Finally put the dumplings carefully into the hot water.
  6. As soon as the dumplings come to the surface (after about 10 minutes), they’re done.
  7. Spread poppy seeds and sugar replacement on a baking paper and roll the dumplings in it.
  8. Finally, blend some blueberries, combine with carob gum, some sugar replacement and vanilla to taste and put it into the microwave briefly until it starts to cook.
  9. Serve „dumplings“ with the hot blueberry sauce, oreo cookies and some fresh blueberries.
